Cinderella, You're as lovely as your name by Elle-Cosplay Cinderella, You're as lovely as your name by Elle-Cosplay
"Cinderella, you're as lovely as your name, Cinderella, you're a sunset in a frame."

I am so happy to be able to share my Cinderella Cosplay with all of you! This was my favourite cosplay from Anime North and my goodness did I ever get a lovely response. I have an awesome time walking around the convention before the masquerade with people coming up and wanting a picture with the Disney Princess. Though I will say I would have prefered to lose my glass slippers, not the most comfortable shoe but what pair of heels is?
The dress was made 100% by yours truly, from the crinoline, to my earrings, headband, and of course the gown. The dress was made from a natural satin making it very light and flowy, and I added a layer of organza over the skirt for more visual interest and flow. The "pillows" on the side of my dress are also made of satin and stuff with left over crinoline I had instead of pillow stuffing because I didn't want it to look lumpy. I did my own design fo cinderella because I wasn't a fan of the traditional poofy sleeve, it just wasnt flattering on me. So instead I bought some lace details and hand stiched them all, adding my own beading, sequins and rhinestones to tie it into the rest of the dress. My earrings (not really seen in this picture) are made from air dry foam with a rhinestone pressed into the center. The most difficult part of this cosplay however was the necklace, a peyote pattern taught to me by the fabulous :iconicephoenix-83: I love how it turned inside of using s plain old ribbon for a choker.
I didn't wear a wig for this cosply and instead chose to style my own hair into a french twist like hers and curled my bangs. Make up was always done by me.

This costume, along with ym disney crew group, won us Best in Journeyman at the anime north masquerade, I was amazingly happy that the hard work paid off and I cannot believe that in under a year of competeing I'm already an artisan. Let me know what you guys think of the cosplay in the comment below

you wear that air of Queenly Grace just as beautifully as Cinderella herself. Great cosplay, always good to see someone paying homage to great Disney characters of the old days

Usually dark eyebrows are hard to wear with light hair, but you look absolutely fantastic! Nice job!
