So this was probably the most ambitous cosplay I have ever worn to a convention to date. I decided to design my own take on my favourite video game villian Ganondorf from The Legend of Zelda and turn into into a fem version. I added more florish to the armor but kept his colour pallet. It was a costume that wasn't the best idea for July but it worked out all the same, thank goodness for air conditioning and wonderful friends who were happy to fan me throughout the day.
The costume was made entirely from scratch and was surprisingly comfortable, though by the end of the day I was pretty darn sick of my facepaint. The cape and sash are made from tafeta, my shirt is black satin and my corset was made from leather hides with a lace detailing added for appeal. I made my armor from paper mache and next time I will be trying wonderflex or worbla depending on the design for a smoother more seamless work. However I am very pleased as this was my first attempt at an armored cosplay. It was also the first time I have ever made gloves for a cosplay and I was so psyched to finally figure out how to make them look just right, no more purchasing gloves for me!

who did a fanastic job shooting these photos for me the morning of the convention.
Editing by yours truly. I added the magic in this shot to mimic the powers he uses in the ocarina of the time.
